Part-Time Tuition & Fees (2024-25)

Part-Time Students are those enrolled in less than 60% of the standard Full-Time credit load for the relevant Program's term. (NOTE:  If a student switches from full-time to part-time after the term deadline for refunds (ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Academic Calendar), no refund will be extended.)

Please Note: If a student's credit load is 60% or more, the student is charged (full-time tuition and fees.)

Part-time tuition is based on the number of credits, using a pro-rated value determined by the number of credits a student is taking divided by the number of credits applicable to the full-time delivery of the program for the applicable term.

Example of Pro-rated Calculation:

  • Full-Time (FT) term tuition = 1745.00
  • A student is taking 9 credits
  • Total credits for Fall term = 23
  • 9/23 = 0.39 (or 39%)
  • Student is part-time
  • Student is charged 39% of FT term tuition (.39 x 1745.00 = 680.55)
  • FT term tuition minus student charges = amount account must be adjusted by
  • 1745.00 – 680.55 = 1064.45
  • Tuition charge is reduced by 1064.45 for the term
  • Tuition charge will be rounded down to the nearest dollar

International Supplementary Tuition, Student Government Fees collected on behalf of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Student Union, and Technology & Learning Resource fees are calculated using the same rationale.  Refer to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Tuition & Fees for more information about Full-Time fees.
