This award was established to support students studying in trades and to reduce financial barriers.

Eligibility

To be eligible:

• Good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Must maintain a GPA of 3.0.
• Be enrolled full-time in one of the eligible trades programs:
  • Carpentry
  • Electrical: Construction
  • Electrical: Industrial
  • Plumbing
• Recipients must participate in one mentorship activity/event per term.

Please note: This scholarship is not available to International students.

Scholarship Amount

This scholarship is awarded at $3000 in three installments of $1000. It is to be deposited into the students' account to be applied against tuition and fees by the end of September; as well as end of January. The final amount is awarded upon completion of the program.

Scholarship Details

In the event the recipient withdraws or does not meet the terms for renewal, another recipient will be selected to receive the scholarship based on the criteria.
