The Strategic Leadership program is designed to prepare managers and aspiring managers with the knowledge and skills needed to become effective and successful leaders. Emphasis is placed on goal setting, motivation, time management, communication skills, and leadership styles. The program combines instruction with hands-on activities, allowing learners the opportunity to refine their leadership abilities in real-world scenarios.
All courses will run from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Leadership Foundations This course is designed to provide learners with a strong foundation in leadership by exploring self-awareness, motivation, and key traits of effective leaders. Time Management This course is designed to support the development of time management skills required to prioritize high-impact tasks, leverage strengths, and address inefficiencies. Leadership Styles and Coaching This course is designed to support the development of leadership and coaching skills. Learners explore leadership styles and key coaching techniques to empower and lead others effectively. Through reflection, learners gain insights into how to adapt their approach to achieve organizational goals and enhance team engagement. | July 21 |
Communication and Leadership This course is designed to support the development of effective communication skills for leadership and team success. Learners explore verbal and non-verbal communication elements and how these impact trust and message delivery. Feedback and Motivation This course is designed to support the development of skills required to provide impactful feedback and motivate teams effectively. Delegation and Authority This course is designed to support the development of leadership skills by aligning authority with organizational values to build trust, respect, and engagement. Leading with Integrity This course is designed to provide learners with an opportunity to assess and present their leadership progress by reflecting on their experiences and feedback. Upon successful completion of the prescribed curriculum, the student will receive a certificate of participation in Strategic Leadership.

Payment of course fees will be due a week before the first class. We accept cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard, Money Order or cheque payable to New Brunswick Community College (ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½).
Participants must be a domestic applicant (Permanent resident or Canadian Citizenship).
Withdrawal/Refunds: Requests for withdrawal from Continuing Education courses must be made within 20% of course duration. Refunds may take 4-6 weeks to process. An administrative fee may apply.
