The Board of Governors for New Brunswick Community College (ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½) has elected Lindsay Bowman and Wes McLean to serve as Chair and Vice-Chair for the 2024-2025 academic year, effective July 1, 2024.
“ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½’s role in driving New Brunswick’s social and economic wellbeing through quality education has never been more important,” said Bowman. “I look forward to continuing in my role as Chair and working alongside my fellow board members, staff, and students to transform lives and communities.”
Bowman is a practicing lawyer and co-owner of an independent pharmacy in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Formerly the Director of Research at the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation, she has also held key roles at Mitacs, Mount Allison University, and SAIT Polytechnic. McLean is a Senior Consultant at the Capital Hill Group, where he leverages his extensive experience from past leadership roles in provincial and federal government.
