Flags at half mast for National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women
On Tuesday, Dec. 6, flags at all ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ locations will fly at half-mast in recognition of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
This annual observance marks the anniversary of the 1989 murders of 14 young women at l’Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal.

ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ campuses are located on Mi’kmaq, Wolastoq and Peskotomuhkati homelands. Since 1726 this land has been subject to treaties that are still in effect today. We are grateful to learn together on this land and do so guided by the original spirit of those treaties - peace, respect and friendship.
