Flags to fly at half-mast on September 27 in recognition of Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day
Flags at all New Brunswick Community College (ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½) locations will fly at half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Sunday, September 27, 2015, to mark the Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day.
This observance is marked annually on the last Sunday in September to recognize the hard work, dedication and sacrifices made by Canadian police and peace officers who were killed in the line of duty.
ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ campuses are located on Mi’kmaq, Wolastoq and Peskotomuhkati homelands. Since 1726 this land has been subject to treaties that are still in effect today. We are grateful to learn together on this land and do so guided by the original spirit of those treaties - peace, respect and friendship.
